Belated Birthday~~Pull Up Sentiment

Leaves create the " pull up tab" for sentiment.

Mr. & Mrs.

I used only black, white and silver to create this elegant Wedding card.
Each circular element was die cut through the Big Shot.
The sentiment was stamped in Versamark and then heat embossed with black powder.
Black satin ribbon and an embossed silver panel adds elegance, along with the attached rhinestones around the outer circle.

Special Delivery

Only the top of the card was embossed and the scalloped banner was created with an MS punch.
Coastal Cabana ribbon compliments the matching cardstock and DSP.

A Little Note

Monochromatic elegance using crushed curry on whisper white cardstock.
Crushed curry DSP and cardstock add texture to this card.

Lotus Blossom

Triple Stamp Technique.
Each flower has a three stamp component to it. Using the "stamping off " technique gives each flower a variation of colours.
Coordinating ink, DSP and ribbon is the key to any card making project.

Flower Pot Card

See next post for the card opened up.

Flower Pot Card ~~ Pull up tab for sentiment.

Once the flower pot base was created, I constructed the sentiment tab. The flowers are stamped then die cut. Leaf punch created the greenery.
The trick to making this card appear like an actual flower pot is to adhere the flowers in such a way as to allow some of them to spill over the front.
Also, keep in mind height in order to fit into an A2 envelope.

"Secret Garden"

Another Tri-fold card for this Challenge.
I created the trellis with two layers of an MS punched glued together. The vine is a Cheery Lynn die put through the Big Shot.
Individually stamped flowers with petite pearl centres are mounted on a small scalloped circle layer.
Two other scalloped circle punches create the base for the sentiment.
Lining my envelopes with coordinating DSP gives that extra touch of elegance.

I used the "Thumping Technique " for the wood grain background.
I first inked my wood grain stamp with Sahara Sand. Then I took a Soft Suede marker and "thumped" colour in small sections of the stamp. Once the finished image is stamped, the "thumping" technique has added a realistic element to the wood grain.
The seashell is actually adhered on a navy background to the inside of the card.
A large circle thinlits die creates the opening on the card front.
The bakers twine and flagged banners for the sentiment both add interest and texture to this masculine card.

Masculine Bithday

Crystal Effects adds that "glass" texture to the seashells.

Happy Birthday George!!

Happy Birthday

This was the first time using this colour combination and I think I will definitely use it again.
Although it is a traditional feminine card, the green circle paper was used to add an element of "funk" into the twist. The matching colour green ink was used to stamp the flowers and, therefore, marry the colours together.

Just one bite, and all your dreams will come trueeeee

GKD Cranberry Tart + GKD Prickly Pear = YUMMY CARAMEL APPLE!

White Wash

Butterflies done with white wash technique!
First the images are stamped in Versamark. White embossing powder is applied then heat tool sets it.
I used a water colour brush to apply ink then wiped off excess. This creates the coloured texture for the project.
